Getting my head around Twitter

I've finally made the leap (into the void?) and have posted to Twitter - twice tonight.

I'm still trying to get my head around the notion of 140 characters. It's not a lot of words, that's for sure. For anyone who's interested, here's what it looks like:

Congratulations! Before long you'll be using is.gd (like tinyurl.com but shorter) to make shorter URLs when you bump into the 140-character limit. Next up: 12 Seconds, the video equivalent of Twitter!

Thanks Joel. I have to say, 140 characters is a bit of a challenge. But I've always subscribed to the notion that brevity is the soul of wit. So now I get to (hopefully) put it into practice. (But not with this comment.)
