My Air Canada mobile e-boarding pass

...was unscanable at security and the gate.

But they gave me the benefit of the doubt and let me through both times.

I kind of wish they hadn't.

I use the mobile boarding pass on my BlackBerry. Only one in 20 times is the gate agent able to scan them. Hopefully, Air Canada will upgrade their scanners to provide passengers with the promised check in experience. What we have right now is like a roulette game for passengers and, I am sure, a real pain for passenger agents who must manually enter passenger check-ins into a computer.
